The Vice President, Experience is a senior leadership position on Wasserman’s Experiential Team responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a fast paced program with a prominent women’s sports property, from brief to execution. This role will ensure that all client deliverables and project milestones including operations and logistics are delivered on-time, on-budget and of a quality expected by Wasserman and its clients.
Additionally, the Vice President, Experience will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the account as well as owning and nurturing the client relationship, providing operational program oversight, and serving as a supervisor for a team of full time and executional staff members..
Duties:

Responsible for oversight &
delivery of account from planning through execution
Oversees a team of direct reports, providing guidance and leadership, communicating a vision, and challenging the team to achieve program goals
Ensures that team is working in collaboration with all Wasserman account teams to ensure flawless project delivery against the client’s objectives and agreed budget
Responsible for the workstream of the entire account team and defines the team structure, roles &
responsibilities based on project needs including ensuring contracts, revenue reporting, team management processes and budget executed according to specified timelines
Build and maintain effective client relationships, establish credibility and ensure client needs are addressed in a timely manner. Manage complex challenges as they arise while also pushing back when necessary to achieve desired outcomes
Lead complex stadium operations and fan/athlete experience activations, across multi-sport and market schedule
Oversees the development, management and reconciliation of budgets of $2M+
Conducts regular communication with agency team and client team regarding roles and responsibilities, budget, schedules, and project status
Ensures the agency team is managing and developing the relationships with Wasserman trusted suppliers, inter-agency team members, and third parties, throughout the duration of the project
Develops deep knowledge of the client’s business and has a clear understanding of the way the client judges the program’s priorities and success and effectively communicates expectations to account team
Creates a positive, collaborative, teamwork environment based on the company culture and values
Provides leadership for account team including coaching, professional development and training;
guides team on deliverables, and establishes best practices with project management
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
15+ years relevant operations experience (preferably in the experiential agency, sport’s front office, or entertainment field)
Ability to travel and work on-site approximately 25% of the year
Ability to remain calm under pressure, multi-task and prioritize workload while ensuring account team deliverables
Confident to present and communicate with senior clients as well as the ability to craft complex, nuanced written communications for internal and external outreach
Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills
Capable of navigating tough issues and influencing those involved toward a desired outcome
Ability to foresee issues developing before they happen and develop and communicate solutions as needed
Maintain an open-minded mentality, allowing thorough exploration of all ideas and thought-starters
Focused, strong-minded individual with an ambition to help grow the company and women’s sports property
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the experiential landscape and proven ability to deliver projects from the ground up
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a ‘can-do’ attitude at all times
Lead and inspire other team members and generate positive morale
Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Benefits
Base salary range:
$185k - $200K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to;
market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
