Vendor Master Data Analyst

Job Description
The Vendor Master Data Analyst, as part of the Finance Shared Services organization, isresponsible for governance and maintenance of Vendor master data, globally, for the organization. The Analyst will work with business requestors and various process owners to maintain proper, up-to-date, information on vendor master per Abbvie data standards. This role will ensure compliance with the process within established SLA’s and adherence to established practices, procedures, and policies.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Treasury and business users to ensure proper and authenticated vendors are onboarded and maintained.
Verify documentation received for onboarding new vendors and updates to existing vendor master data.
Prepare documentation and work instructions for any process improvements relating to any of the vendor maintenance systems like Ariba, DSP and SAP.
Support additional functions within the Vendor master data team.
Address any queries from business requestors in relation to vendor master data.
Respond to escalation requests from business users.
Provide strict adherence to Abbvie processes and established SLAs for the process.
Knowledge/Experience of S4 SAP system with Vendor master and PTP processes required.
Knowledge/Experience of SAP Ariba and DSP systems is preferred.
Experience in Project management skills is required.
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
Good time management with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Should be flexible to work in multiple time zones as needed.
Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
