About the team
The Enterprise Data Governance team is a highly collaborative and fast-paced group responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the next generation of data governance capabilities and services to Worldpay. We provide transformative data management processes and solutions to enable our stakeholders and clients to succeed in an increasingly competitive, data-driven world. We work together with our critical partners across the Line of Business(es), Technology, Risk, Information Security, Compliance, Privacy, and Legal to enable and drive business goals through the Worldpay data strategy, by ensuring ethical and responsible use.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Director to lead our MDM team. As the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of master data management, including data stewardship, data quality, data integration, and data security. You will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive master data management strategy for Worldpay.

What you will be doing
You will develop and implement master data management strategies to ensure mastered data is accurate, accessible, and secure across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in master data management processes and tools, with proven experience in leading and managing teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, data stewardship skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities, are required.
Set the strategy and vision for the MDM program.
Partner with multiple stakeholders to gather and refine requirements to build and prioritize the MDM roadmap.
Partner with the technology team and vendor partners on design, development and implementation of the MDM program for all data domains.
You will drive MDM adoption by ensuring data assets are understood, available and used.
You will proactively promote the MDM program and its use within the organization.
You will manage relationships with external vendors and partners to support master data management operations and initiatives
You will stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging trends in master data management to drive continuous improvement.
You will communicate data management strategies, initiatives, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment and support
You will act as a player-coach by providing hand-on leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members while actively contributing to project deliverables and strategic initiatives
What you bring:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
8+ years of experience in Data Governance and Master Data Management
10+ years of proven work experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on querying databases and extracting insights from large datasets
Proficient in SQL (Structured Query Language) and have experience writing complex queries to manipulate and extract data from relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Successfully implemented an end-to-end master data management technology (i.E., Informatica MDM) solution at the Enterprise level
5+ years of demonstrated success in leading data teams to execute data integration projects, manage data warehouses, and develop data pipelines for efficient data processing
Experience in developing and implementing data quality processes, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques to ensure accurate and reliable data
Proven track record in collaborating with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable data management strategies
Planned, managed, and facilitated Steering Committees, Working Groups, and Executive-level meetings with crisp professional protocol that brings together various personas across Tech and Business teams
Oral and written communications skills exemplified through previous examples of creating polished Executive PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, and other documentation geared towards business stakeholders
Committed to continuous professional development by staying informed about the latest trends in data management technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and improvement in data operations

Certified Data Management Profession (CDMP) certification from the Data Management Association International (DAMA)
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)
