HIROTEC Group delivers body-in-white closures, exhaust systems, flexible closure tooling, and stamping dies to automotive customers around the world. With a US headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI, HIROTEC Group operates 33 facilities in eight countries.
Currently we are seeking a Senior Accountant to become a part of the HIROTEC team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Calculates, posts, and reviews financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records, including monthly general ledger closing
Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and assists in preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position
Audits contracts, orders and vouchers
Assists with document preparation for financial statement audits
Functions as a back-up for in-house payroll preparation
Conducts internal meetings to collect information for use in monthly revenue recognition and accruals
Conducts surveys of systems within operations to ascertain needs of organization
Compiles data for use in cash flow forecasting
Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries
Analyzes financial information
Assists in devising and implementing accounting control procedures.
Provides accounting support for other departments.
Prepares analyses of accounts, executive summaries, and monthly financial statements
Other duties and projects may be assigned based on operational objectives
