Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Ingredient Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our ingredient products, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales goals and expand market presence for our ingredient products.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Account Management:
Manage and grow key accounts by building strong relationships with customers and understanding their ingredient needs.
New Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and attending industry events.
Customer Relationship Management:
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer needs and providing excellent service.
Sales Forecasting:
Prepare sales forecasts and budgets. Monitor and report on sales performance against targets.
Product Knowledge:
Develop a deep understanding of our ingredient portfolio and effectively communicate product benefits to customers.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, including R&
D, marketing, and production, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Sales Reporting:
Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Trade Shows and Events:
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our ingredients and network with potential clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the food ingredients industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
