Sr. Manager, Innovation Strategy

This role will lead the development and execution of the companys Innovation Strategy, focusing on identifying future opportunities in new disease territories, ingredient solutions, and medical technology to support patient populations. This role encompasses building the pipeline strategy and managing specific projects to achieve strategic goals.
MUST HAVES:
Bachelors degree required;
MBA preferred
7+ years experience in a Brand Management, Marketing Strategy, and/or Innovation Management role
3+ years experience in an innovation role
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Therapeutic Nutrition
RESPONSBILITIES:
Develop the Innovation Strategy by identifying new market opportunities through nutritional solutions and associated medical technology
Utilize past experiences to create the Innovation Pipeline, overseeing the process from ideation to product launch
Collaborate with the company's Strategy Department to create a market landscape, analyzing industry trends, patient insights, and competitive activities to inform the pipeline strategy
Define target product profiles to guide development and identify key success factors for projects
Establish strong cross-functional relationships with Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Finance, and Operations to ensure strategic alignment and smooth commercial transition
Support M&
A evaluations of potential acquisitions to accelerate entry into new disease territories

GENERAL DUTIES:
Coordinates field staffing for all projects including recruitment, selection, and hiring activities.
Studies and understands plans for each project under construction.
Attends all pre-job walks and multi-weekly visits to each job site.
Verifies correct installation and adherence to the plans and specifications at each project.
Completes timely and accurate written documentation of extras and collection of all approved paperwork.
Monitors job cost reports weekly, and proactively corrects errors in accounting practices, purchasing issues, and or management of labor time.
Completes projects on time and under budget.
Establishes positive relationships and maintains ongoing communication with clients and LDI management/departments.
LEADERSHIP &
MANAGEMENT:
Implements and exceeds current company policy, systems and procedures of all Field Operations, Safety, Quality Control, and Technical Training Programs.
Adheres to and embraces LDIs company doctrine, values and mission statement and also ensure his/her direct reports do the same.
Oversees proper and efficient use of equipment and tools in the field.
Conducts bi-weekly Foreman meetings.
Trains and evaluates assigned Foremen.
Ensures that all new employees are trained on proper LDI policies and procedures, company culture, and proper project management practices.
Conducts all transactions in compliance with all LDI company policies, procedures, standards and practices.
SAFETY:
Ensures that all LDI safety policies and OSHA regulations are met, and high levels of productivity and quality are performed at all times.
Immediately reports any employee injuries to Human Resources and/or Safety Officer.
Enforcement of all field employees to wear appropriate uniform and PPEs for job functions.
SKILLS/ABILITIES ABILITY TO:
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and evenings, as required.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow construction plans.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions and to complete work assignments correctly.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and other employees.
Speak English/Spanish.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
10+ years of commercial landscape construction related experience
Valid Drivers License
Demonstrated leadership/management experience
PW Experience
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)
Ability to work in extreme conditions temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.
