Design Strategist

Job Description
Strategy+, AECOM’s design consulting practice operates at the intersection of Business Transformation, Human Dynamics and Place Strategies and is looking for highly motivatedDesign Strategistwho possess outstanding graphic representation, analytical, communication and design skills. The successful candidate will join our multidisciplinary team of talented Strategists and be responsible for supporting our consulting projects which encompass higher education, local and federal government entities, corporations, and healthcare. This role is to be based inHouston, TX.
Core Responsibilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and additional data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau) to create and conduct data analysis and architectural space programming.
Space planning and conceptual schematic architectural design in Rhino, Revit, or other design CAD software
Comfort in delivering quality architectural planning, research, data analytics, visualization, presentation preparation and concise persuasive writing skills in report writing.
Ability to contribute to workshops with applied critical thinking during focus groups and presentations including client interaction and communication.
Work as a collaborative team player and assisting junior team members, with oversight from a Project Manager, senior team members and Principal in Charge.
Travel may be required.
