11 months with possible extension
Note:
This is a W2 contract job, we cannot work on C2C or 1099.
We can only consider the candidates who are local to Nevada, relocation support won't be possible.
Project Scope:
Position will function as a Sr. Business Systems Analyst supporting the Technical Services Department. To be successful in this role, Sr. Business Systems Analyst should have a combination of technical, administrative, and soft skills.
Mandatory Skills:
- A minimum of 9 years working in Information Technology field with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- A minimum 8 experience as a Business Analyst or Project Coordinator
- Experience in a government setting.
- Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM module for managing and updating projects.
- Ability to organize and lead highly technical focus groups composed of primarily Infrastructure, Network Systems, and Desktop services.
- Demonstrates professional organization, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities, proactive/positive team player, resourceful and innovative.
- Hands-on experience developing both technical and user-friendly communications as well as documenting technical requirements, creating job aids, and monitoring project progress using Service-Now.
- Proven multi-tasking skills, including ability to work effectively under pressure, handle heavy volumes and meet demanding deadlines.
Desirable Skills:
- Ability to work in a Balanced Matrix environment, with tenured resources and evolving priorities.
- At a minimum have fundamental knowledge of:
IT Projects
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in local government.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, should demonstrate fluency in both oral and writing communications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with external stakeholders as well as internal staff.
- Self-starter with the ability to take on tasks with minimal direction when needed.
