About the team
The FIS CardPro Data Center Team is responsible for managing the connectivity, data flow of client files, client carrier/template design, as well as system monitoring/support for the CardPro environments.
About the role
A Business Systems Analyst (BSA) on the Data Center team uses homegrown software applications to verify data processing, troubleshoot errors, and run test jobs fed by a ticket queue. In addition to having knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle, the BSA candidate should be strong in gathering requirements, documenting processes, and performing hands-on software configuration and testing.
Candidate must have good communication skills, work well on teams, demonstrate problem solving skills, and be able to perform and deliver under tight timelines. This position will play an integral part in the CardPro business unit moving to a new processing platform, as well as migrating FIS legacy platforms to Payments One.
What you will be doing
· Defines and documents existing client processes to communicate with other internal teams or external clients.
· Tests and deploys new processing workflows or enhancements to existing workflows.
· Designs and maintains client carrier templates using various document design tools.
· Calculates/estimates the required effort for system solutions.
· Writes test plans and test cases to ensure changes which are made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained.
· Conducts a variety of hands-on tests such as system, integration, and acceptance tests. Ensures that the changes made are correct. Verifies through testing that changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts. Reports and reviews testing results.
What you will need
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems or other related disciplines.
- Knowledge of financial services industry and an understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles. (FIS Products)
· Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles.
· Proficiency in solutions design, requirements definition, and leveraging model tools.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
· Working knowledge of writing SQL database queries

The pay range for this full-time position is $80,960.00 - $(phone number removed) and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
