Accounting Specialist

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage complex accounting tasks, ensure compliance with accounting standards, support financial reporting processes, and provide technical expertise to our accounting team.
Responsibilities:
Manage and perform complex accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports for management.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes.
Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance to team members.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2 years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on complex accounting tasks.
CPA certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.G., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
