Veterinary Technician

Marianna Animal Hospital, a pillar in the community for over 50 years, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians in routine examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and diagnostic imaging.
Educate pet owners on preventive care, medications, and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including exam rooms and equipment.
Provide compassionate and attentive care to both patients and their owners.
Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality veterinary services.
Requirements
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent qualification (Prefered)
At least 1 year of experience working as a veterinary technician.
Strong knowledge of veterinary medical practices and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
