This position will require 2x a week in-office in either our Jersey City, NJ or Boston, MA locations.

The Strategist, Integrated Marketing – Brand coordinates and executes “One Verisk” marketing efforts working across corporate and business unit cross-functional marketing teams. You’ll be working with a group of accomplished high-level professionals while deepening your knowledge and skills with an ever-expanding breadth of projects and the opportunity to make independent decisions. You’ll apply your talent in communicating the value of Verisk solutions and enjoy collaborating and building relationships with colleagues and clients. This individual will be a core team member leading cross-functional brand initiatives.
This role requires a strong understanding of the B2B marketing landscape and will be able to identify and execute on opportunities to reach and engage our target audience. This position reports to the Director, Brand Marketing and will work closely with other members of the marketing team. The role is based in New York (Jersey City, NJ) or Boston, MA with a hybrid work schedule. Travel up to 20% of the time to connect with geographically dispersed technology team, business stakeholders and clients.
Responsibilities
Market &
Competitive Intelligence– Identify customer, market and competitive insight needs and initiate research with key stakeholders. Leverage insights to drive marketing strategy.
Customer Journey – Leverage compelling customer insights from research and third-party data in the development of target personas, buyer needs and the purchasing decision process
Brand Strategy – Identify market/customer needs and define the market opportunity for new features and solutions through demonstrated knowledge of audience and market as well as business unit goals.
Marketing Strategy – Develop multi-channels marketing campaigns based on customer insights and audience profiles to deliver on business objectives. Lead go-to-market strategy and planning for Verisk brand opportunities.
Messaging&
Positioning – Develop positioning and messaging that differentiates the Verisk Brand in the market.
Sales enablement– Write or solicit authoritative reports to educate the market on key issues facing the market. Partner with Sales leadership to identify marketing support needed to advance sales pipeline opportunities.
Campaign Development – Develop strategy and clearly articulate business priorities/vision to launch innovative, integrated, and multimedia campaigns, including email marketing, digital content, web landing pages, online advertising, podcasts, video, advertising, social media, etc.
Marketing Analytics – Deliver actionable marketing analytics with insights and recommendations to leadership to ultimately drive decision making.
Thought Leader – Serve as internal and market-facing SME/thought leader for the Verisk Brand to inform business decisions.
