Stem Teacher- Middle And High School

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate STEM Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) curriculum to students, fostering a love for these disciplines, and preparing students for future academic and career success. The STEM Teacher will create a stimulating learning environment, encouraging students to explore, experiment, and excel in STEM subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
Design and implement comprehensive STEM lesson plans that align with state and national educational standards.
Instruction:
Deliver high-quality, interactive, and hands-on STEM instruction to students in a classroom setting.
Assessment:
Evaluate student performance through various assessment methods, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
Technology Integration:
Utilize technology and digital tools to enhance the learning experience and make STEM subjects accessible and engaging.
Student Engagement:
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and curiosity.
Extracurricular Activities:
Lead or support STEM-related extracurricular activities, such as clubs, competitions, and field trips.
Professional Development:
Stay current with advancements in STEM education, participate in professional development opportunities, and collaborate with colleagues to share best practices.
Parental Communication:
Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians to discuss student progress, challenges, and achievements.
Classroom Management:
Establish and maintain classroom management practices that promote a safe and productive learning environment.
Resource Management:
Manage classroom supplies, equipment, and resources effectively.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
Certification:
Valid teaching certification in STEM subjects as required by the state.
Experience:
Previous teaching experience in STEM subjects is highly desirable.
