Job Description
The ITW Residential &
Renovation divisionis seeking aStaff Accountantin ourGlenview, IL location to provideaccurate and timely financial information for internal and corporate reporting. The Staff Accountant willreconcile balance sheet accounts by predetermined due dates, manage cycle count process, inventory reporting and complete ad-hoc analysis as required.This role will partner with Operations, Sales, and Marketing to improve overallperformance/productivity and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
Core Responsibilities
Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for specified general ledger accounts.
Perform day-to-day general ledger accounting, financial reporting &
analysis for assigned functional areas.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory, cycle and physical counts. Work closely with the procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure seamless inventory management processes
Research and resolve divisional inquiries from corporate or external partners.
Participate in the development, enhancement and monitoring of company internal controls.
Provide financial support for various special projects including cost analysis, internal/external audits, sales/use tax audits, manufacturing surveys and otherad-hoc requests.
Ensure company policies are being followed as well as implementation of new controls as they arise.
