Adecco is currently assisting a well-known National Pharmaceutical client, recruiting for a Lab Technician in Fort Worth, TX.
Schedule:
2nd shift
Shift timing:
2PM-10PM
Days:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
The anticipated wage for this position is between $19.50 and $23.50. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
The role of the Lab Technician is to fulfill the goal and objectives of the entire plant. Ensure accurate and timely product testing SO that Dairy products are manufactured within quality specifications. Monitor processing and production lines to ensure that GMP's are followed. Prevent costly errors by production personnel. Ensure that the shift contributes to the best financial interests of Vandervoort Dairy.
Experience
* Follow all GMP and Dairy Plant policies and procedures.
* Maintain a high work ethic.
* Give input and ideas on improving job and department.
* Any assignments from the management team.
* Test finished products for proper manufacturing and adnce to quality specifications.
* Test iing raw milk, water and ingredients forpliance with government regulations andpany quality specifications.
* Perform shift inspections for GMP's, equipment, temperature and sanitation checks.
* Prepare vitamin samples, water samples and environmental swabs for testing by outside laboratories.
* Conduct ATP pre-start inspections of fillers, tanks, lines and other equipment as necessary.
* Calibrate lab equipment and plant thermometers.
* Perform work safely and efficiently to prevent delays on productions lines.
* Keep Lab clean.
* Train other Lab technicians as necessary.
* Keep supervisors informed of problems or achievements.
* Suggest ideas or solution to improve efficiencies, housekeeping, etc.
* All other duties as assigned by the Lab Foreperson and/or QA Manager.
* Perform all duties of a laboratory associate when needed.
Required Qualifications :
* High school education, plus two years of college required.
* Must have basic math skills.
* Must have good written and verbal skills.

Pay Details:
