Your Career
As a Sr. Technical Marketing Engineer for Prisma Access at Palo Alto Networks, you will join a team responsible for driving our SASE/SSE products, including SaaS, IaaS, Network Virtualization and best in class Cloud delivered Security Services. You will work with cutting-edge technology, redefining the future of network security.
This role supports field account teams and key customers by developing technical communications and programs, including best practices, competitive reviews, and demo environments. Responsibilities include product performance during evaluations, competitive and technical gap analysis, and aiding product management in identifying innovations. This critical customer-facing position offers significant impact potential.
The ideal candidate would be able to collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute go to market strategies, act as a thought leader at the industry level, evangelizing the products and product strategy both internally and externally.
Your Impact
Technical Marketing Strategy:
Develop, continuously refine, and execute the technical marketing plan for critical accounts to drive engagement and sales.
Content Creation:
Create, maintain, and deliver effective technical tools, whitepapers, demos, videos, and technical training for sales teams, customers, and partners.
Automation Leadership:
Lead automation initiatives within and across cross-functional teams, striving to achieve technical and operational excellence throughout the release process.
Competitive Analysis:
Conduct competitive research and testing to identify key advantages of our product lines and effectively communicate them to sales, customers, and partners.
Technical Evangelism:
Act as a key technical evangelist for Palo Alto Networks, speaking at seminars, conferences, customer briefings, and internal meetings.
Product Enhancement:
Collaborate with engineering to identify product gaps based on competitive analysis and work with Product Management (PM) to drive enhancements.
Domain Authority:
Serve as the domain authority on Palo Alto Networks products, providing Systems Engineers with information on competitive questions.
Sales Support:
Identify sales challenges arising from competitive situations and provide viable solutions.
Technical Documentation:
Document technical concepts to ensure our products are well understood and utilized to their fullest potential.
Competitive Lab Setup:
Setup and maintain a competitive test lab, including test harness, competitive products, and automation environment.
Product Testing:
Configure and test competitive products, evaluating their strengths in security efficacy and product features.
Technical Ownership:
Own the technical product area of Real User Monitoring (RUM) and provide analytics to monitor digital experience in Prisma Access.
Customer Focus:
Maintain a passion for the customer journey, user experience, and usability with a knack for simplicity.
