Senior Engineer/Project Manager

Job Description
The Water Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Water/Wastewater Senior Engineer/Project Manager for our West Palm Beach or Jacksonville offices in Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience with the design of municipal conveyance, pumping system, and water/wastewater treatment plant projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serves as lead engineer and/or project manager on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects including water pipelines, sewage collection systems, pump stations, storage tanks, water treatment systems, wastewater treatment systems, etc.
Leading the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and other project documents.
Prepares project work plan, scope, schedule, and budget, and communicates these to project team members;
monitors/manages project production for compliance with schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
Identifies new business opportunities for AECOM, coordinates and participates in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promotes AECOM’s capabilities, marketing its services among existing and prospective clients.
Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafts complex professional service agreements and addenda for review by senior management.
May supervise technical professionals, associate project managers, and design staff including workload and staffing management.
Assisting with marketing needs within the region.
Participating in professional societies relevant to the industry.
