Senior Analyst, Corporate Insurance

Job Description
Provide assistance to Director of Insurance and Insurance Manager on all aspects of Review, Processing, Invoicing and Service of insurance placements for Corporate, U.S. McOpCo and Worldwide Programs. Responsible for executing requests for insurance verification for all locations in the U.S. Manage process for insurance compliance of Franchisees Worldwide. Provide assistance and direction to clients on insurance issues, and regulatory filings with respect to workers’ compensation, auto, general liability and property insurance. Key customers include Home Office, Legal, Franchising, Supply Chain, McOpCo Worldwide and International Owner/Operators.
Principal Accountabilities:
Insurance Policy and Program Management
Assist Insurance Manager and Director, or directly handle renewal of Company’s domestic and international property and casualty insurance policies. Includes working directly with brokers, obtaining renewal application materials, completing applications and maintaining policies.
Gather necessary exposure information and work with broker partners and vendors to complete ancillary insurance renewals.
Support insurance manager and director in compiling renewal data for US and Global renewals.
Provide location reporting for corporate properties, construction, and relocation properties.
Oversee issuance and invoicing of bond program.
Assist with verifying international insurance values as part of the captive program renewal.
Process department invoices.
Insurance Verification – U.S. locations
Manages insurance verification process for McDonald’s U.S. locations, both McOpCo and Owner Operators.
Receive requests from outside parties for evidence of insurance coverage required by leases and/or other contractual or legal obligations of Corporate and Owner Operators.
Review legal database to establish the validity of interested parties.
Review insurance obligations contained within the lease agreement or other legal documentation verifying insurance obligations.
Access location information to determine the Insurance Program/Broker responsible for issuing evidence of insurance for that location.
Complete request form, submit to Insurance Broker for Certificate of Insurance and follow up for completion of request.
Insurance Compliance/Vendor Management
Oversee insurance compliance program for McDonald’s U.S. Owner Operators, overseeing the vendor’s service team, to ensure timely completion of policy reviews for non-approved insurance programs.
Oversee insurance compliance program for US General Contractors. Work with the vendor service team and US Development and Legal Teams.
Miscellaneous
Track certificates for Worldwide Convention
Handle all regulatory requirements for states with self-insured status.
Provide back-up for others in the department as needed.
