(90%) Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and supplemental reports for the International Franchising operating segments
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and ensure completeness of accounting data for all Int’l business units.
Record period end accounting entries (e.G. accruals, adjustments, etc.)
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and certifications including key accounts such as tax equalization, deferred store opening fees, deferred development fees and growth incentives.
Communicate with internal customers on outstanding accounting issues, problems, or concerns
Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, HR, Legal on any International foreign entity items.
Coordinate with other areas of both accounting and the entire home office team to appropriately reconcile and analyze account balances and activity every period
(10%) Special projects as needed
Assist internal customers with analysis of financial impact on certain projects
Assist financial reporting with the review of quarterly and annual financial reports
Assist with developing and documenting new accounting policies and procedures
Assist with internal and external audit requests
Assist in testing system upgrades or newly implemented system
