Senior Tax Accountant

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring tax compliance, optimizing tax strategies, and providing expert guidance to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
Conduct comprehensive tax research and stay informed on the latest tax laws and regulations.
Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, assisting them in minimizing tax liabilities and achieving financial goals.
Assist in tax audits and manage relationships with tax authorities.
Mentor and supervise junior tax accountants, offering guidance and support for their professional growth.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their tax-related queries and concerns.
Identify opportunities for tax process improvements and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or other relevant certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm.
Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
