Senior Accountant

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Senior Accountant to lead our finance team. The Senior Accountant will oversee the accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide valuable insights to support decision-making and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
General Ledger Management:
Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Month-End Close:
Lead and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develop and oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct in-depth financial analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and provide insights to management.
Audit Coordination:
Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit requests and compliance with audit requirements.
Process Improvement:
Lead initiatives to optimize accounting processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Team Leadership:
Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Masters degree or CPA certification is preferred but not required.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
