Scientist I, Drug Delivery Sciences

Job Description
As a Scientist I in Drug Delivery Sciences, you will work under the mentorship of a supervisor to develop novel drug delivery systems for the sustained delivery of various therapeutics to the eye. You will collaborate with a talented, multidisciplinary, and cross-functional team to build cutting-edge new delivery capabilities and advance product candidates through early R&
D. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and inquisitive, with good communication and collaboration skills and an understanding of scientific principles.
Responsibilities:
Plan and perform lab work to support the development of novel drug delivery systems.
Execute formulation and associated analytical experiments.
Apply in-depth understanding of relevant scientific principles to understand assignments.
Learn and effectively implement new experimental protocols and/or techniques.
Generate high-quality data and prepare technical reports/presentations.
Participate and contribute to team meetings.
Support a safe, organized, and operational laboratory environment, including coordination of equipment calibration/maintenance, procurement of supplies, etc.
Maintain timely and accurate laboratory records consistent with good documentation practices.
