This is a hybrid opportunity open to candidates in ATL and Chicago.
About this position
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to support sales operations and deal management processes in a dynamic business environment. In this role, you will serve as the central point of contact and coordinator between cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless deal progression from initial quoting and order generation to final contract execution. Your responsibilities will blend sales operations, deal management, project coordination, and administrative support, driving operational efficiency and providing valuable analytical insights
Job Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between legal, sales, customer success, professional services, and information security teams to ensure effective deal progression and timely resolution of issues.
Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements, align proposed deals with business objectives, and support pricing strategies.
Coordinate with legal and contracting teams to manage the contract review and approval process, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with information security teams to address data privacy and security concerns during the deal negotiation process.
Partner with professional services teams to scope project requirements, track the status of statements of work, and ensure accurate pricing for SaaS subscriptions and integrations.
Serve as the central contact for all deal-related inquiries and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and alignment with business objectives.
Maintain detailed documentation of deal status, potential risks, and critical milestones, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Assist with administrative responsibilities, including quoting and generating order forms, to support deal operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the product development process.
Skills/Requirements
Minimum of 3+ years in sales operations, deal management, or a related field with a proven ability to navigate and manage complex deal processes from initiation to execution.
Strong understanding of legal and contract review processes, with a keen eye for ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing contracts, pricing proposals, and project scopes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams (sales, legal, customer success, professional services, information security) to drive deal success.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiarity with CRM and deal management tools is a plus.
Background in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Sales, or Finance, with a solid understanding of SaaS and subscription-based models.
Strong ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and business impact, balancing high-priority and routine tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with all levels of the organization.

6-month contract with the possibility of extending/converting
Pay/Salary Range:
Pay Range:
$32-$40/hour
