Personnel is HIRING, 2nd shift &
3rd shift Safety Coordinator.

· Maintain employee safety procedures and documentation.
· Assist with coordination of new hire and refresh of safety training.
· Conduct regular routine safety inspection walks all shops, to ensure proper safety procedures are being followed.
· Determan when employees are using unsafe safety practices and may need more training.
· Identify workplace hazards and implement hazard control to prevent accidents.
· Manages action log
· Reports safety concerns and problems to leadership to initiate action plan needed.
· Counsels and provides technical support to employees, supervisor, managers, regarding matters of workers compensations, injury restrictions and duty termination.
· Assist in emergency drills.
Requirements
Computer applications including, documentation, presentation, spreadsheets and database programs.
Highly Ethical
Self-Motivated
Respectful and collaborative in a team environment.
OSHA 10 or 30
6+ months preferred of related pipe-yard experience or safety training.
PC literate:
Microsoft word, Excel, Power Point, and outlook
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to conduct training classes for audiences at all levels
Bilingual Spanish and English
Ability to apply common sense understanding to interpret and carry out instruction.
