As a Regional Class A Company Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across designated regional routes. You will be a crucial part of our team, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, following all traffic laws and company policies
- Transport goods from distribution centers to designated customer locations within the designated region
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers, providing updates on delivery status and any potential issues
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Represent WNNLAF Contract in a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Class A driver
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks such as loading and unloading cargo
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel and spend nights away from home as needed
