Specialized Unit Details:

24 bed Oncology Unit with a BMT specialty component, an emphasis on the acute hematology patients and symptom management for all persons experiencing issues related to their cancer diagnosis.

Unit/Schedule

5A - Inpatient Oncology Unit
Full-time 36 hours/week, benefitted
12-hour Day Shift, (7p -7a) or rotating shifts.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia
Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses
1+ year RN experience
Chemo/Bio Therapy Certification preferred or obtain within the first year of hire;
fully paid by Sibley Memorial Hospital.

Salary Range:
Minimum $39.61 per hour - Maximum $61.40 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
