Unit Based Pool, PRN Nights

Job Summary:
A clinically competent Registered Nurse who utilizes the nursing process under the direction of the hospice provider RN to deliver care from adult (age 18 years) to geriatric population as defined in the unit-specific structural standards of the assigned area.

Read, write and comprehend medical terminology;
Effectively convey verbal and written information and medical terminology;
Perform mathematical calculations correctly;
Organize and manage time effectively setting appropriate priorities to make independent decisions consistent with current policies, procedures and nursing standards;

Adapt hours of availability to variable and changing needs of the hospice residence, including all shifts;

Comply with OSHA standards;
and
Understands and respects importance of patient privacy and confidentiality;
Develops and promotes a constructive/positive atmosphere within the work area by demonstrating the ability to maintain cooperation with and assist fellow health team member, physicians, intra and inter-departments, hospital, hospice providers and nursing administration.
