Regional Sales Director-Roofing Manufacturer

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Leader to drive our roofing products division in North America. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge and a proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing and sales strategies within the commercial roofing sector, particularly in weatherproofing and PIR (Polyisocyanurate) markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets in the North American market.
- Lead market research initiatives to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape in the commercial roofing industry, focusing on TPO and PIR products.
- Utilize market insights to identify growth opportunities and develop strategic initiatives to expand market presence.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including distributors, contractors, architects, and consultants.
- Identify and recruit partners such as agents and contractors to expand distribution network and increase market penetration.
- Collaborate closely with product development, manufacturing, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of marketing and sales strategies with product capabilities and customer expectations.
- Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics;
analyze sales data and trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Negotiate sales agreements, contracts, and pricing strategies aligned with company policies and market dynamics.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and build brand awareness.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with the North American commercial roofing system, particularly TPO and PIR market distribution channels, sales strategies, and methods.
- Knowledge of the competitive product sales system, sales policies, and pricing in the North American roofing market.
- Capability to identify and establish partnerships with agents, contractors, and other strategic partners across North America.
- Experience working with major North American roofing brands such as Carlisle, Firestone, GAF, Atlas, and Hunter;

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in marketing and sales leadership roles within the roofing products industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion in commercial roofing products, specifically TPO and PIR.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales performance data, market trends, and competitive information.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective marketing and sales plans.
- Ability to travel domestically as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Knowledge of sustainability trends and initiatives in the roofing industry.
- Strong network and established relationships within the commercial roofing sector.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
