Typical Day in the Role
Purpose of the Team:
Join us in building a transformative research knowledge reasoning platform based on state-of-the-art large language &
vision models (LLMs). Our agile and independent team is on a mission to revolutionize &
democratize data analysis and research insight by transforming complex, time-consuming text reasoning tasks into efficient and trustable processes.
Key projects:
This role will contribute to HITS (Human Insight Tracking System), website for people across Microsoft to share their research to remove redundancy. Enables the insights and findings and research to be shared throughout Microsoft. Collaborating with account manager on training related, taxonomy requests and connecting with others on the team.
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm:
The role will consist of:
Agile backlog grooming in Azure DevOps
Organize and lead key agile meetings such as sprint retrospectives, bug triage, and user acceptance testing
Helpdesk support and analysis / prioritization of customer issues / delegation to other team members
Feature specification and program management
Testing new builds
Team rhythm and scheduling
Coordination with the taxonomy team and account manager
Preparing monthly business reviews with team's key performance indicators

2+ overall years of experience in the field.

Disqualifiers:
People that arent super organized. This role has a lot of small moving pieces and have to develop a system of tracking those certain things. Struggled with this in past candidates. Candidate NEEDS to be Details Oriented.

Experience with agile, and grooming backlogs in bug and work tracking tools like Azure DevOps
Excel skills (using formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
Strong communication and people skills
Detail oriented, organized, and thorough
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle complex tasks effectively
Self motivated
Computer programming or computer science qualification or experience.
Experience in product or program management leading feature specification through engineering lifecycle.
Experience navigating and driving complex business, approvals, and compliance processes.
Performance Indicators:
Performance will be assessed based on reviewal on help desk tickets from Sponsor (only for a month, to make sure everything up to date), Quality of Work, People are getting helped properly.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Familiar with Azure Dev Ops (will be using this in their entire role) and having a deep understanding of ADO is a huge plus
2. 2+ Years of Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, Chart generation, etc).
3. Familiar with Outlook or Scheduling Software as this candidate will be managing a lot of Meetings in the PM role.

We're looking for a Program Manager Non Tech 1 to help drive our team's agile processes, product requirements, and customer support.
Responsibilities:
Agile backlog grooming in Azure DevOps
