Job Description
Partners with Workforce Solutions to support social media channels including creating, scheduling, and sharing content
Works closely with Workforce Solutions communications team
Creates content, including text posts, video and images that tells the story of how our services change lives
Develops and maintains materials to communicate service delivery options and processes to the community through virtual and in-person mediums
Develops outreach and program materials adhering to branding guidelines
Develops and utilizes communication strategies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and informational materials
Conducts community outreach to identify and engage potential program participants in program activities
Approves outreach materials according to SOPs and written approval processes
Communicates up to date information to internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to system partners, media, jobseekers, and employers
Trains and supports system staff on messaging and communication with potential jobseekers and employers seeking services
Makes presentations, both in-person and virtually, about systemwide programs to community groups, social service organizations, and other stakeholders to promote engagement
Researches social media trends and makes recommendations for client campaigns
Partners with Workforce Solutions to optimize social media to increase program social content visibility to young adults and other key demographics
Supports board with drafting press releases
Other duties as assigned
