Material Flow Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Material Flow Specialist responsible for all duties of preparing, packing, or moving material for manufacturing processing or shipment to our customers.

Material Management:
Keeps warehouse and inventory locations neat, orderly, and organized.
Delivers parts to next work center/ department based on router.
Receiving:
Moves incoming parts to staging area.
Visual inspect parts for condition defects such as rust or damage.
Verify counts against packing list for receipts.
Packing/ Shipping:
Packs, bands, and shrink wraps parts as required per packaging instructions.
Correctly updates computer program for schedule, due date, quantities, and shipment details.
Reviews packaging requirements and advises supervisor of any necessary changes. Provides feedbackon packaging instructions on Prototype Jobs.
Conducts quality checks following quality process instructions (MPCD).
All Areas:
Follows all safety processes and procedures in accordance with job and Company requirements.
Ability to safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Ensures that the work area is clean, orderly, and safe.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to internal and external customers.
Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1-2 years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hours:
Full Time - 40 hours per week
Monday - Friday:
10:
00AM-6:
30PM
