The Opportunity:
Mattel is seeking a Manager, Ecommerce Marketing - Amazon based at our worldwide headquarters in El Segundo, CA on our Omni-channel Retail Marketing Team. This position will drive the development and execution of the Marketing Strategy for select Mattel brands on Amazon. This role will collaborate and develop deep partnerships with key internal stakeholders (Mattel Sales, Brand Marketing, Media, and Shopper and Business Insights teams) and external stakeholders (Amazon Vendor Managers, Amazon Advertising, key licensors, etc.).
What Your Impact Will Be:
Marketing &
Merchandising
Drive development and execution of full year go-to-market plans for select Mattel brands on Amazon
Lead merchandising and marketing strategy to drive traffic and conversion at the brand and item level including detail page optimization, variations, virtual bundles, retail media, promotions, and participation in Amazon-led initiatives
Collaborate closely with Mattel retail media team and external media agency to develop, execute, and evaluate effectiveness of strategy to reach target shoppers and drive incremental sales
Partner with Mattel Digital Operations team to optimize organic search results and detail page assets
Strategize with Amazon Vendor Management team on all Amazon-led program executions to ensure best-in-class planning alignment;
support exploration andexecution of new or beta opportunities across Amazon that positively impact sales, profitability and customer experience
Partner with cross-functional Mattel teams (Sales, US Marketing, US Digital Media, Influencer) to deliver coordinated marketing efforts to drive profitable sales growth
Own relationship with key licensors including collaborative program planning and performance readouts
Lead strategy, execution, maintenance, and analysis of brand stores including coordinating with marketing, sales and creative teams to ensure content, images, and product selection are leveraged to maximize brand presentation and sales conversion
Orchestrate customer business reviews in partnership with Sales team by performing business analysis, identifying priority products and developing programs for upcoming seasons, and developing impactful presentations to sell-in recommendations

Synthesis
Analyze product, segment, and brand performance and identify areas of optimization to increase sales, traffic, and conversion
Complete thorough analysis of marketing programs (i.E. promotions, merchandising, brand stores) to determine ROI, identify optimization opportunities, and present both quantitative and qualitative results to internal and external stakeholders
Analyze Amazon-provided data to identify trends and opportunities for product development and marketing or merchandising optimization
Synthesize key data points, identify trends and recommend/execute activities to maximize sales conversion and deliver an optimal customer experience on Amazon
As needed, perform insights, market share, competitive analysis, etc.
