POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing &
Digital Content Coordinator at Cheddar Up will play a vital role in executing our digital content strategy, optimizing for SEO, and assisting with marketing campaigns. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role involves creating, managing, and optimizing a variety of content across our digital platforms. You will be responsible for writing and editing marketing emails and blog posts, assisting with elements of other marketing campaigns, and helping to maintain and update drip email campaigns. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong tech-forward organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a deadline-driven environment.
As part of our fast-paced, data and results-oriented marketing team, you will collaborate closely with your marketing team peers to drive impactful digital content and marketing campaigns. You'll operate with a data-focused mindset, always seeking to analyze results, ensuring our initiatives meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Creation &
Management:
Contribute to and help execute the digital content calendar, including writing, editing, and managing SEO-optimized blog posts.
Ensure high-quality content production from drafting to design and final publishing.
Write, edit, and manage digital marketing campaigns, including drip email sequences.
Coordinate with design team members to ensure cohesive and visually appealing content.
Digital Marketing:
Manage the production and distribution of email marketing campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Woodpecker, or Zoho.
Oversee the creation and management of landing pages, flyers, event materials, and other digital content.
Track and analyze content performance metrics, including SEO metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
SEO Maintenance &
Optimization:
Assist with ongoing keyword research to identify opportunities for content creation and optimization.
Monitor website analytics and SEO performance metrics to track the effectiveness of SEO efforts and identify areas for improvement.
Stay updated with industry trends and algorithm changes to ensure our SEO strategies remain effective and up-to-date.
Collaboration &
Coordination:
Work closely with the entire marketing team to ensure alignment with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather content requirements and feedback.
Maintain and update marketing and content calendars, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Innovation &
Efficiency:
Continuously seek out new tools and technologies to enhance content production and efficiency.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to keep our content strategies innovative and effective.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2+ years experience in content creation, digital marketing, and project management.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with GSuite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp and drip-email systems.
Basic understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
Personal Attributes:
Strong writing and editing skills with a high attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to meet tight deadlines.

Salary Range:
$60,000 per year, depending on prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
