Licensed Practical Nurse Geriatrics

We are currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for geriatrics to join our team. Responsibilities
Deliver compassionate and high-quality nursing care to geriatric patients
Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician
Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans
Accurately document patient information and maintain organized medical records
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and personalized care
Provide emotional support and companionship to elderly patients
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients
Follow infection control protocols and other safety guidelines
Requirements
Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
Minimum of 2 years of experience in geriatric nursing
Strong knowledge of geriatric nursing principles and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards elderly patients
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physical stamina and ability to lift and assist patients
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
