Junior Staff Accountant

Job Description
As ForTec continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team. Responsibilities include organizing, maintaining, and analyzing multiple company's accounting records, general ledger accounts and financial statement. Additional job responsibilities are outlined below:
Prepare journal entries, analysis and participating in monthly close processes
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare sales tax returns and reconciliation periodically as prescribed by taxing authority and accounting calendar
Respond to information requests and review financial statements
Support the annual financial audit and other state and local regulatory requirements.
Document new processes or procedures and update existing standard operating procedures
