Interventional Radiology Technologist

CTTX Health is seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our team. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various interventional radiology procedures under the guidance of radiologists and other healthcare professionals. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and assisting in accurate diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities:
Assisting radiologists and other healthcare professionals in performing interventional radiology procedures.
Preparing and positioning patients for procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Orienting and educating patients and their families about the procedure and post-procedure care.
Operating and maintaining interventional radiology equipment.
Monitoring patients during procedures and responding to any changes in condition.
Assisting with patient documentation and maintaining accurate and detailed records of procedures and outcomes.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret diagnostic results.
Requirements
Requirements:
Valid certification or license as a Radiology Technologist.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Proficient in performing various interventional radiology procedures.
Knowledge of radiographic positioning and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
