Responsibilities
Perform complex interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of physicians
Assist in patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring during procedures
Operate and maintain specialized equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality images
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of procedures and patient information
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
Stay updated with the latest advancements and techniques in interventional radiology
Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement activities
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
Valid and unrestricted certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
Minimum of 3 years of experience in interventional radiology
Extensive knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and techniques
Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting specialized interventional radiology equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment

Schedule Details:
10 Hour Days
Weekend Rotation:
Call only on the weekends
On-call Requirements:
Call will be required, Call is done on a week basis, Friday 1700-Monday 0700 Tuesday-Thursday 1700-0700 (1-2 call shifts in 13 weeks)

In the event of a vacation falls on a scheduled workday, the subsequent pay period will be reduced by vacation pay hours.
Floating Requirements:
None
Experience Required:
3 years IR experience.
License Required:
ARRT Radiography
Certificates Required:
Kansas State Board of Healing Arts;
Can interview without KS license and apply upon offer.
Certificate Preferred:
Vascular Interventional Radiography Post-Primary Certification from the ARRT (VI)
Looking for travel IRT, only qualified candidate should apply
