Job Description
The Industry Sales Leader is a critical role for the organization in WireCo’s journey to “be the preferred supplier to our core customers”. This position will promote commercial excellence by leading a team of Technical Sales Managers to achieve world class sales growth and account management.
As an Industry Sales Leader, your focus is to mentor and give direction to a team of Technical Sales professionals within a key market industry with the goal of expanding our business by identifying new prospects and maintaining and growing our key customer base in accordance with our strategic plan. A critical aspect of your role will be providing keen insight into market micro and macro drivers and trends and competitive analysis. You will be responsible for developing and executing against your industry specific strategic plans.
Your team of Technical Sales Managers will be the day to day point of contact for their assigned accounts, but you will be the executive level contact for national accounts to provide guidance on higher level strategic decisions and maintain strong relationships.

Duties &
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Oversee the development and execution of client engagement strategies to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
Maintain up to date Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
Serve as the Industry Expert for your specific area, providing guidance and technical expertise to your team as needed.
Ensure tactical activity alignment with the WireCo 5-year strategic plan and adjust strategies as needed.
Track and report progress against the assigned industry budget orders and revenue on a frequent basis.
Identify and evaluate potential business partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to expand market reach.
Assist Product Management team to enhance the organization's brand presence and visibility through strategic marketing initiatives and participation in industry events.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with leadership in developing industry and regional budgets.
Supervisory Responsibility
Set performance metrics and KPIs, regularly assessing team performance against established goals.
Conduct reviews with direct reports through Culture Amp software:
bi-weekly 1:
1 meetings, quarterly and end of year performance reviews, business initiative allocation and personal development goal setting and tracking.
Review employee engagement survey results and craft tactics to improve areas of feedback.
