Job Description
AECOMis seeking aGIS Specialistto be based inBaltimore, MD.
This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Works under direct supervision to create, edit and maintain spatial and attribute data.
Uses concepts, practices and procedures to extract and provide GIS data to clients.
Uses ArcGIS Pro and ESRI suite to manipulate data and perform geospatial analysis
Works with web data and assists with web maps and application production in Enterprise ArcGIS, Portal and AGOL.
Provides mapping and graphical support for reports, proposals and outreach.
Reads and interprets engineering drawings.
Uses Python, R, SQL, Arcade to program solutions of limited scope and complexity.
This level is typically provided data from a level II or III for database entry and/or providing basic figures for projects and presentations. Level I is an end user of designs completed by level II and III.
