Geographical Information Systems (Gis) Supervisor

Job Description
Wonderful Orchards is seeking a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Supervisor to support our Shafter, CA corporate agricultural operations. This position reports to the GIS Senior Manager and will be responsible for supervising daily tasks and long-term projects of the GIS team, guiding day to day prioritization of projects, providing geospatial solutions for operational divisions in five counties, and will understand the various ways to spatially represent operations and reporting including legal property boundaries, ranch infrastructure, environmental concerns.
Responsibilities will include:
Maintenance of spatial tables and databases for integration with business systems that support reporting.
Receive and deliver on requests from departments across the organization for geospatial output including maps, geospatial derived reporting, annual updates to harvest related mapping and annual projects.
Maintain data collection integrity through the use and experience in GPS devices and ESRI suite of mobile applications.
Maintenance and development of GIS assets in Portal and ArcGIS online.
Coordinate with departments across the organization to keep geospatial data up to date with the needs of the business.
Spatial analysis relating to crop production, water usage, and land usage.
Supervision of GIS personnel in the activities listed above.
