Finance Director

Job Description
The Finance Director (FD) oversees all financial data, expenditures, and processes of The Exodus Road’s global team. The FD coordinates communication and the flow of financial information among and between TER’s key leaders and teams, including international teams. He/She ensures compliance with financial policy, adherence to donor standards (including US government regulations), and effective and efficient use of donor resources. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and serves a critical role in the future of the nonprofit.
Oversight and management of all financial data, expenditures, and finance staff in The Exodus Road’s global team.
Ensure the efficient management of budgets, accounts payable, payroll and taxes, and fiscal oversight.
Making recommendations on continuous improvement of processes and the timely use of data to drive decision-making in all departments.
Ensure that the flow of financial information and reporting is consistent and transparent to all key stakeholders.
Lead the Finance Team as they engage with the third-party annual audits.
Develop annual goals and action plans in alignment with TER’s strategic plan.
Serve as a support to all teams in accomplishing their goals more efficiently, effectively, and with a data-driven approach.
