Position Summary
Momentus Capital Marketing and Communications team is seeking an energetic, creative, media savvy college student interested in event planning and marketing. This position will have a specific focus of creating event and marketing materials, assisting with preparation for both in-person and virtual events, managing inventory, providing administrative support, and assisting the Marketing and Communications team as needed. Mass Communications and Marketing majors preferred.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive understanding of event planning and execution, including logistical coordination and vendor management, to contribute effectively to event success.
Gain hands-on experience in creating and implementing marketing strategies across various
platforms, with a focus on audience engagement and brand visibility.
Cultivate strong communication and teamwork skills through collaborative projects, while also demonstrating adaptability and creativity in problem-solving within the fast-paced events and marketing/communication environment
Requirements
Intern must have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects while maintaining anorganized environment.
Intern must possess a strong attention to detail.
Intern must possess excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
Intern must possess excellent internet, social media, and research skills.
Intern must be comfortable working in a team environment, but also capable of functioning independently.
Intern must be proficient in Canva, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite products.
Intern must be able to work in a hybrid office setting.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $18-$20, depending on education.
This role is hybrid, but the ideal candidate must be located in the Arlington, VA/Area. The frequency of office presence will be discussed with the supervisor, but the position will be mostly remote.
