Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting an Engineering Program Support Specialist for Idaho Falls, ID. Please note this is a 6 month position.

As member of the ICP Engineering Programs Staff, the primary responsibility of this individual will be to aid engineering staff in performing their assigned responsibilities—as identified in MCP-1450, “Conduct of Engineering”. These duties include but are not limited to.
Support the ICP Engineering Programs (EP) Lead.
Assist with supporting MCP-1308 revisions to FDC's
Assist with supporting MCP-540 and the Quality Level Determination System
Assist with supporting MCP-3772, Commercial Grade Dedication System
Assist in developing SPC's, SOW's, PLN’s, and other engineering deliverables to include technical reviews of said documents developed by others
Review and submittal of documents into EDMS, per MCP-135, Document Management
Performing activities associated with Vendor Data Submittals
Directly interface with company SME's and engineering staff to maintain company controlled documents contained in companywide Manual 10a – Engineering documents and assure they are compliant with the CM-SMP and DOE requirements
Support annual Assessments
Assist in support of resolving track wise and corrective actions involving the EP.
Non-EDMS engineering documents and tools (such as the Engineering Software list)
Assist in the management, modification, and control of company controlled documents that are not associated with any company manual (such as forms)
Assist in the management of documents from non-company sources (such as INL documents).
Assist in the management, modification, and control of document and procedures that may be unique to areas like NRF D&
D, RWMC ARP/AMWTP, INTEC
Requirements
Bachelors of Science with minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
The position requires a good technical background and understanding of the general workflow at the ICP, attention to detail is critical.
The ability to detect a problem and know how to ask more questions to completely resolve the issue will be required to mitigate any shortcomings with the Engineering Program.
Good reading and writing skills are essential.
The preferred candidate will meet the aforementioned criteria and work under the direction of the Engineering Programs Lead to support the program.
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
