We’re looking for a Client Executive- Energy to join Insight Energy! At Insight Energy, Client Executives ensure the success of Insight Energy’s internal and client-facing projects, with direction from the firm’s experienced leadership. Client Executives play a crucial role in listening to client’s needs, defining an engagement plan, maintaining the account, and providing direction and support to the data analysis that will be the basis for client decision making.
Account Management
The Client Executive is responsible for the day-to-day client relationship, developing and managing a risk program with clients to guide physical and financial purchases, up-selling Insight Energy's services, and being engaged with Client Fulfillment personnel to ensure fulfillment-related items and related reporting requirements are delivered to the client as outlined in the client contract.
Manage Insight Energy’s contract renewal and negotiations for all assigned clients.
Drive value to Insight Energy’s bottom line by identifying and recommending additional opportunities for client engagement with Insight Energy support. (Upsells)
Identify opportunities to improve clients’ profitability with Insight Energy.
Ensure deliverables meet client expectations and drive value for the organization.
Develop, organize, and update client trackers to demonstrate Insight Energy’s value to the client.
Hold ongoing client management update calls to establish regular communication cadence, including contracted market calls.
Research and understand each client’s industry in order to tailor these trackers and update calls to the client’s specific goals
Manage day-to-day communications with each client to ensure their concerns are addressed on a timely basis.
Coordinate communication between client and Insight Energy subject matter experts to support scope expansion.
Lead Insight Energy’s client management from both the physical and financial market perspective to assist in maximizing Insight Energy’s clients’ energy supply opportunities and coordinate all supply-related purchases.
Set client and internal team expectations and monitor product delivery while looking for opportunities for new products, product enhancements, and savings initiatives.
Responsible for accurate client company information and client data in Insight Energy’s proprietary systems.
Understand and be able to instruct others on the burner tip economics of all assigned client facilities. This includes the review/understanding of all applicable tariffs/summaries, special contracts, supply sources, and available pipelines.
Provide monthly client status updates to the internal management team regarding renewals and upsell opportunities.
The Client Executive will engage with internal teams (COEs) for support with contracted and upsell opportunities.

waste-reduction opportunities through comprehensive energy efficiency and demand-reduction solutions
Sustainability Reporting
Identify and implement solutions to support the delivery of energy management services, including data acquisition, reporting, and analysis resources in support of sustainability initiatives.
Energy Procurement &
Risk Management
Proactive procurement of energy commodities (electricity and natural gas) in deregulated markets with the goal of driving cost reductions and managing volatility in energy markets
Regulated Rate Analysis &
Optimization
Analysis, identification, negotiation, and implementation of more economical rates with clients’ regulated utility providers
Requirements

Position Requirements:
An environmental / energy, engineering or business degree, or degree in a related field, from a top undergraduate program 5+ years of professional experience in the Consulting or Energy industries
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the Consulting or Energy industries
Strong work ethic and high level of integrity
Strong analytical skills and capabilities and strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Exhibiting integrity in judgement and firm relationships
Experience with Microsoft Office products, including the ability to develop and interpret complex models and ad-hoc reports
Ability to effectively take on multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously
Limited travel, as needed
Preferred:
Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment and a capacity for innovation and process improvement
