The U.S. Pricing team is looking for an experienced Director of US Pricing Strategy and Execution
Job Description:
The Director–US Pricing will be expected to lead Pricing Strategy &
Execution across the USbusiness which is one of the core competencies to the long-term success of the McDonald’s System. This individual will shape pricing strategy, architecture, pricing analytics, and planning &
recommendations both nationally and regionally. The candidate will also lead pricing research studies and tests to inform longer term pricing strategy.
Key Accountabilities:
Demonstrating strong organizational leadership for a six-person team including setting and prioritizing objectives that drive business performance while continually developing talent
Delivers a compelling narrative of pricing strategy to National Leadership Teams and enables productive two-way dialog between McDonald’s and Franchisee Leadership
Oversees the pricing performance management function to communicate the impact of strategy and tactics on business results for field business units
Ensures strategic alignment with system menu initiatives and national &
local promotions and validates that McDonald’s pricing guidelines and strategies are considered in pricing execution
Leads the successful deployment of strategic pricing initiatives, including formulation and communication of pricing recommendations to support new product offerings, LTOs, and other national initiatives
Leads development and deployment of pricing research and testing plans, including:
identifying opportunities for pricing focused research, development of a research and testing calendar, deployment of in-market tests, and management of strategic stakeholder communications
Leads development and deployment of national training program to educate US stakeholders on McDonald’s Pricing Strategy, Guidelines, Testing, and general pricing principles.
Serves as Project Lead who manages the pricing vendor relationship.

Capability and experience analyzing large amounts of data using multiple data sources, develop analysis templates/tools and synthesize various learnings into actionable recommendations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Talented presenter who is comfortable delivering technical content to a broad audience
Strong project management skills
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
