We seek a dynamic and strategic leader with a proven track record in healthcare recruitment to spearhead the Recruitment Program at a premier NYC hospital. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills and the ability to plan, initiate, monitor, direct, coordinate, and administer recruitment programs. This role is integral to the seamless operation of our healthcare settings and ensures compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement an overall recruitment strategy for healthcare facilities.
* Define roles and manage the recruitment team, supervising performance and quality of work.
* Oversee the recruitment operating budget, ensuring resource efficiency within budgetary limits.
* Integrate recruitment programs with those of healthcare settings.
* Provide leadership and coordination for recruitment programs and initiatives.
* Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in recruitment.
* Coordinate recruitment activities, including fellowship programs.
* Develop recruitment resources and establish links with educational communities.
* Build strategic relationships with various talent sources (e.G., job boards, associations, community boards, social media).
* Organize and participate in recruitment activities such as job fairs and career days.
* Utilize management information systems to provide analytical tools for evaluating recruitment programs.
* Develop metrics for measuring recruitment efforts and effectiveness.
* Continuously improve recruitment processes to streamline workflows and enhance candidate experience.
* Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment plans.
* Promote diversity and inclusion within the recruitment process.
* Participate in the System-Wide Recruitment Council.
Qualifications:
* Must hold a current certification or credential in talent acquisition.
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
* Minimum of two years' experience in implementing recruitment programs, utilizing the latest technology and market data for recruiting in a healthcare setting, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and related experience.
* Proven ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a team.
* Proficiency with job boards (e.G., LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, Indeed).
* Experience with recruitment software and analytics tools (e.G., PeopleSoft, Oracle).
