The Data &
Analytics team in AbbVie's Information Research Business Platforms, part of the BTS (Business Technology Solutions), works closely with various domains including Medical Affairs (MA). Their objective is to improve and enhance the digital technology products that support the capabilities and enable better decision-making in the field of Medical Affairs.
As a Lead Data and Analytics Engineer, you will be required to oversee Medical Affairs data and analytics initiatives as well as overseeing initiatives within FOUNDRY Data Lake. You will perform the following:
Collaborate with cross functional teams to oversee end-to-end Business Intelligence/Analytics, and Data Warehouse solutions implemented.
Responsible for designing analytical solutions (using tools such as PowerBI, Spotfire, QlikSense, and Web) and reporting solutions for multiple business functions.
In addition, knowledge of AI/ML and other technologies like Chatbot is required.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Acting as domain expert for Data &
Analytics.
Leading data analysts to perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation tasks.
Designing analytical solutions to meet current and future business needs and strategies.
Collaborate with the IR Data Lake BTS Organization and take charge of Data Onboarding initiatives for data and analytics related to a specific Business domain. Serve as the main contact for all analytical requirements for that particular business.
Coordinating with multiple development teams and managing solutions for different analytical and operational needs for the business functions.
Maintaining a close relationship with enterprise Infra teams and Cloud vendor to understand their roadmap, ensure platform support and solution viability.
Coordinate with Technical delivery lead and developers for project delivery.
Understanding organization's vision, goals, strategies and aligning with department priorities appropriately, determining critical success factors, evaluating, and pursuing initiatives based on fit with strategies.
Providing project status updates.
Providing innovative solution ideas along with execution strategies to help drive business effectiveness.
Using technical consulting skills, expertise and collaboration to translate business needs for technology delivery teams including vendor partners.
Ensuring that project estimates and timelines are complete, comprehensive, and risk tolerant.
Tools and skills you will use in this role:
PowerBI, Qliksense, SQL, Cloudera Workbench
SDLC process for data and analytics delivery.
Important - Clear and Excellent interpersonal communication, presentations, proofreading, editing, and formatting skills, owning Analytical solutions and navigating through the solutions during demos.
