Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team on a gig contract basis. You will have the opportunity to work from home.As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our customers. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, and will play a critical role in ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate solutions to their issues via phone, email, and chat.
Troubleshoot technical problems and provide step-by-step guidance to customers.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve customer concerns.
Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and retention rates.
Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide the best possible support to customers.
Assist with testing and providing feedback on new product features and enhancements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent;
some college courseworkpreferred.
1-2 years of experience in a customer service or technical support role.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Proficient in using customer support software and tools.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Experience in the virtual communication industry is a plus.
Background checks may be conducted.
Training will be provided.

Contract Details:
This is a remote contractor gig, which will allow you to work from home. The contract length is negotiable and can range from 3-6 months. Working hours will be Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Hours are very flexible!There may be occasional weekend or evening work required. Compensation will be based on hourly cap.
