Chemical Mixing Technician

Job Description
This position involves the blending and mixing of appropriate ingredients to create chemical products used in agricultural applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of shop math, be able to operate various types of machinery, work independently at a fast pace, and possess excellent hand-eye coordination. This role is crucial for ensuring that all chemical mixes are accurate and meet the required specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Blending and Mixing:
Accurately blend and mix ingredients according to specific formulas and blend sheet specifications to create high-quality chemical products.
Machine Operation:
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot various types of chemical mixing and blending machinery.
Quality Control:
Perform regular quality control checks to ensure all mixes meet the company’s standards and client specifications.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of all raw materials, chemicals, and finished products. Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Handle hazardous materials in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
Documentation:
Keep detailed records of all mixing and blending activities, including quantities used and batch numbers.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Communicate any issues or discrepancies to the management promptly.
