Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper Specialist to manage our clients' financial records with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping principles, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, providing them with expert financial support and ensuring their financial records are accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients using accounting software (e.G., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Collaborate with clients to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies in their financial records.
Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices and ensure compliance with relevant laws and guidelines.
Support the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience 3 years working as a bookkeeper or similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
